Grampa and La-La came up for the weekend, on a moment’s notice – perhaps to hang out with us, perhaps because they’re hoping the baby will come this weekend. Either way, it’s a bonus for us, because Grampa prepared us some homemade southern cooking: black-eyed peas, corn, fresh veggies, and corn bread. THIS is good eating.
I think Baby Faulkner’s excited grandparents think they can coax him or her out – hey, if it works, we’ll take it. We shall see . . .
