Dedication Sunday

Alice was dedicated at church this past Sunday and we had a marvelous time celebrating with our family who traveled to Atlanta for the special occasion.

Alice’s Mimi and Big flew in from the Midwest to be with us for the weekend. We had a great time eating, drinking and watching football with them on Saturday and we were sad to see them go after the service on Sunday. But Alice especially loved getting to play with her grandparents and getting to show off her new tricks.

Alice wore the dress that her mother and her Aunt Cary wore when they were babies. Many thanks to Mimi for saving it and keeping it in such good condition all these years.

The entire Faulkner-Coleman clan was together for the occasion as well. Lala and Grampa enjoyed having the grand babies together and we all loved getting to watch Alice play with her sweet cousin Caroline.

We are very grateful to have had our families with us Ffor this exciting event in Alice’s life. Thanks for making the day so special for us!

“As surely as you live, my lord, I stood here beside you praying to the LORD. I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give her to the LORD. For her whole life she will be given over to the LORD.”
